A son of God whose perfume, like a sacred language, penetrates you with its grace, imperceptibly with a tenuous quiver. Gently starchy vapors of rice and freshly ironed cotton, torn by the acidic crunch of pressed citrus fruits - this kalamansi which is both lime and tangerine with which he sprinkles his dishes, before rubbing his hands with the peel to purify them.
